Choosing a domain registrar.

We do not register, purchase, or renew domains. You buy the name in your own account, pay that registrar directly (about $10–11/yr for a .com at Cloudflare, at cost; other registrars often renew higher, e.g. GoDaddy $22.99/yr), and we point it at your site. Cloudflare is preferred. GoDaddy or any other registrar works.

Prices below are listed .com figures as of October 2026. They change. Verisign raises the .com wholesale fee on 1 November 2026. At-cost registrars move with it: Cloudflare from $10.46 to about $11.17 a year. Sale prices and marked-up renewals at other registrars may change too — always confirm on their site before you buy.
